Hoosier water…
Always natural.
Always Pure.
The waters of Southern New Mexico have always been sacred. The indigenous inhabitants of the area where the Hoosier now sits, the Chiricahua Apache, called these springs the “place to pray” and the waters were known as neutral ground. Peace and healing have always been associated with natural spring waters and that tradition continues.
Drawn from the largest thermal mineral water aquifer in the Southwest, you can watch the water flow directly into your pool. You are present at the first moment this thermal water rises up and meets the air above ground and the light of day. Once it leaves your private soaking pool, it flows directly back into the Rio Grande, to recharge the precious desert aquifers.
Never treated, heated, nor filtered, the hot springs water emerges here at Hoosier Hot Springs at the naturally occurring temperature of 104 degrees and is rich in minerals yet devoid of sulfur – odorless, restorative, and enchanting.
We at The Hoosier pride ourselves as stewards of the water and as such want your experience to be the purest possible. Each pool is drained and cleaned between every reservation and your water is never mixed with any other water as it flows continuously from the pipe back to the ground. We believe in the healing powers of the water and while you are at The Hoosier, the water is yours and yours alone!
